ARTEMIS at GOODWOOD
Nick Fiddian Green
On 29th June 2010 the monumental 30ft bronze sculpture Greekhead-Artemis by Nic Fiddian-Green was installed on a hill overlooking Goodwood racecourse. The work was cast in Llanrhaeadr' studio and fabricated and finished in Liverpool.
Then was relocated at the racecourse on display during the Glorious Goodwood festival.
Actually, it returned to the hill, where looks proudly the wide landscape.

FROM SMALL BEGININGS...
FOUNDRY CELEBRATES 20 YEARS

In 1990, Castle Fine Arts Foundry began casting sculptures in a small shed in the grounds of Chirk Castle.
After one year, we moved from the castle to new premises... but the name remained. On June 26th 2010 we hosted a party at Llanrhaeardr to celebrate this landmark for the company and as a thank you to the many people who have made it possible.
It has been a journey that has seen the business grow to a team of more than forty people based in four locations.
We can look back on some great moments and be proud of our achievements over the last twenty years.

FOUNDRY AWARDED
NATIONAL BUSINESS PRIZE

The foundry has been announced as the national winner of the 2008 British Small Business Champions (BSBC) award.
BSBC was founded by the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) to celebrate and gain recognition for the UK's small businesses of which there are over four million.
The judging was headed by Carol Undy, past national chairman of the FSB. She said: "Castle Fine Arts is a shining example of a successful, small business".
